Not been a good year for Can, first Jaki, now Holger ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Time to dig out Tago Mago & Ege Bamyasi.

Oh piss. That has properly annoyed me. I love Can. Met Damo at Truck a few years back and talked the early days with him.

Thanks Holger for it all. In some very dark days I once found real love and no small amount of healing - and Can was/is the ever-present soundtrack. Enjoy your rest, magic man. The moon is full and shaking. Until next...

A real innovator. The world is a duller place.

A very sad story, his wife died very recently as well.

Bad news.

He and Jaki were so good together. Incredibly fluid, funky & hypnotic.

Ah, shame that. Can were pioneers, proper ahead of their time, and yet timeless.
Lovely quote: "one single drumbeat can contain all the music in the world."
RIP

Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised to find the two facts related.

The world is a duller place.

Oh indeed.

one single drumbeat can contain all the music in the world.

Lovely indeed.

Tago Mago and Ege Bamyasi are perennial favourites, especially I'm So Green, Vitamin C and Halleluhwah. Lived with their companionship for over 30 years.
