Im thinking about getting a TEAC CR-H248 for some CD/DAB playing. Eventually I want to marry it up to a streaming receiver, but not until the price of those comes down by 50%.
Spec for the TEAC output is:
• Output Power: 25W + 25W (6 ohms, 1kHz, 0.5% THD)
Can someone recommend some discrete bookcase speakers (max 300mm for any dimension) for me please? Budget up to £100 for the pair. No Bose (not that theyd be in budget anyway)
Im no HiFi directional cable muso buff, so unicorn jism coated tweeters arent needed.
cheers for help.
SH AVI Neutrons, may be over budget, but will blow your knob off with sound quality.
SH Rega Kytes for cheapness.
^^what he said^^
Or SH B&W 600 / 601's (601's might me a bit big though)
Looks like they go for £200 odd though 🙁
cheers lads. Kytes look they might come in under budget given eBay completed listing prices. The others are a little bit rich for my taste.
You won't regret it, I love mine.
Ive got some lovely tannoy mercury s but they're a bit big.
Might see if I can find a spot for them....
