An expensive afternoon here, started with going round a few garages to look at a new or nearly new replacement for wife's nearly out of warranty 6.5 yr old Kia Soul. A few hrs later, we appear to shortly own a new Q2 with a mighty 1.0l turbo petrol engine ๐Ÿ˜€

Good deal and lovely car to drive, any folk who have had them in the real world for a while ?

That's a loaded question, and you're leaving yourself wide open... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hah ! I never saw that till I read it again ๐Ÿ˜€

So let's assume for discussion purposes that I'm seeking opinions on the vehicle, not the owners ....

Small pointless Q car Audi make ?

That's a loaded reply, but it'll get someone's back up enough to fill a quiet Saturday night.

My wife's hairdresser's manicurist's personal shopper has one.

I'll ask for you.

Did you just assume the personal shopper's gender?

Well, anything would be better than the Juke's styling...

angel, yes, we looked at that, so going for the basic SE spec that panel is black, as are the wheel arch and base of door panels. The ones with grey panels look shite IMO. That said, the overall look of the car isn't to everyone's taste. Bearing in mind we are trading in a Kia Soul it is actually rather pleasing on the eye ๐Ÿ˜€

See, I don't mind the Soul, it's practical and looks like a kids drawing.

Don't tell anyone, but I really admired the TT, a brilliant design.
Shame they lost that purity almost immediately, but I understand why the family look still has a strong appeal.

Grey Q's do remind me of troop carriers though and black ones look like something Darth Vader would use to drive the kids half a mile to school.
๐Ÿ™‚

Can't stand the Juke's pointless, deliberate, inneficiency, or that of any 'premium crossover' but I don't mind the looks anymore.

The red's lovely btw.
Like the blue as well.
Great yellow, but a bit too strong for the car?
Love a proper gold, but that one's a bit braaahn for me.

A touch of early Diana in that convertible?
Clever.
Audi are very good at updating old design cues.

I love playing with car configurators.

Well the small compact SUV market is hotting right on upski...

But I think Citroen have forgotten to stick some man sized wheels on this little beauty, instead they've stuck some skateboard wheels on it.

Dear Lord ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
