Such a shame he's stooped to this as I've seen him live a number of times and he his one of my favourite stand-up comedians.

I do like his stand-up, but he lets himself get dragged into some right shite sometimes. That "World's Most Dangerous Roads" was also awful.

I quite liked the Ben Fogle/Hugh Dennis one. The one with Rhod was a bit poor. They made a big a fuss about the last bit of the journey playing up the danger and saying get ready to jump out the window but they were on a public bus with old women and kids.

@nickjb...copy and paste from another thread perchance? ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh Jeebus, I'd forgotten that bit. It was a bit cringeworthy, that bit...as was the running around like headless chickens at the landslide spot. I think the "danger" was massively overplayed throughout the series.

Rhod's a funny lad, but like most TV comedians he's getting dragged into the never ending over produced, dumbed down, tv pundit/comedian role.. Not unlike that stupid git whose's only funny line was "my se* is on fire" and the floppy haired one out of the peep show.. They're all at it, faceless, bland comedy for the Pizza eating sloths.
Jack Dee went through it, thankfully he's still able to come out with some epic comedy programmes.
I'm rather glad those that did Green Wing haven't sucumbed to this rather semolina pudding TV.
