Going to stop weekly shop from next week and have it delivered.

Is it delivered in the 15p bags or just unloaded from the "trays" and plonked on the floor in the hall or whatever.

Niche question but thanks for the info as always guys.👍

I drive for Asda. We don't use bags anymore, its just loose in crates, have your own bags or boxes to decant it into, or just take the crates through to the kitchen and unload straight onto worktops.

We stack the stuff in the hall so as not to keep the driver waiting - then we move it on into the kitchen via human chain when they've gone.

Just don’t expect to get toilet roll, beans, pasta, bread or pretty much anything else you might want right now 🤣

Poopscoop, no problem mate.
Johndoh, thing is we're still having the same amount of toilet rolls delivered and the shelves are restocked overnight, problem is people coming in first thing in the mornings and just stripping them bare

We keep a few IKEA bags in the hall and transfer into those.

Had an email from Tesco’s about changes to delivery service, including the fact they’ll pack in bags if you are isolating;

“Following the Government’s advice on preventing the spread of COVID-19, if you’re self-isolating, your driver won’t be able to come into your home. But to help make things easier, although we have a bagless policy, we’ll provide clean shopping bags which your driver will use to pack your shopping for you at your door.”

Good luck actually booking a slot though!
