I use Fireworks on my PC, which is running Windows XP.
I need an art package for Windows 7 as my version of fireworks does not work, any suggestions for some free software please?

I've got Fireworks MX-04 it works in Windows 7 but Windows changes graphics mode to Standard or something, still usable though.
I might switch to Gimp though as I like the name.

Have you tried running it in Windows 7 XP mode?
