I once went on a date with someone 14 years older than me with 3 kids. As my housemate pointed out, if the eldest had been a daughter then i may have been onto something 🙂

I say age doesn't matter-to the people involved and if you meet someone special don't let them get away (if the feeling is mutal).

I look back at an older lady relationship I had and she was the best thing that happened to me-not because she was 12 yrs older than me but she was one hell of a woman (incredible looks and brains) who had a major impact on my life and values.

2 Yrs ago she died in an car accident after a few months of me leaving to progress with my career and I thought I would be back within a year to sweep her off her feet again as we talked on the phone all the time in separate countries.

Biggest regret of my life and I've been on a a few dates since but I could never feel that way again so I stay single until I'm ready.

The hell with age or colour or sex, if you meet someone special-stick together! :O)

chased after an elder lady years ago (without success, again...) who turned out to have had a daughter at an early age. Had an image flash through my mind for some reason that if :

1 - I married her
2 - my brother (9yrs my junior) married her daughter (similar age)
then
3 - I could be my own brothers father-in-law

At this point I decided against the whole venture and slopped off for a pint with the boys.

I'm nearly 33, GF just turned 20. A young dancer, whom i met when she was 17yrs and 1 week old. Been together ever since. I have made her aware that now she's no longer a teen she's at the risk of being dumped for a younger model. She laughs but i know inside she's desperate to please me 😀
