Staples are knocking them out for £65, i know its not an Ipad and i don't expect that!! I want to browse the we, play videos and music and email.

Worth the £65?

Perhaps not what you want to hear, but I had a play with an Archos tablet ages ago and it was awful. Really sluggish and the screen was terrible. It was probably a much older model though.

Would be interested to hear how you get on.

I had a look at the Arnova a couple of weeks ago and found the screen really laggy due to it being resistive.

Ended up getting a Dual Core HD Capacitive 7" Novo7 Elf2 tablet for £99 inc delivery. I'm very happy iwth it..

I honestly can't remember now, it was one of many on display in Curry's. I remember the Archos being bobbins (it stuck in my mind as I'd previously held their media players in high regard) but as to what model it was, I've no idea.

rooley - this is a capacitive screen, Processor - ARM Cortex A8 @ 1 GHz,
RAM - 1 GB. So in theory should be pretty good 🙂 Its out for delivery so we will see soon.

Now it has the new firmware and google play on it i am very pleased, ok not ipad slick but it was £80!
