Anyone recommend a home visit person for Apple in Bristol?
The iMac is away for possibly a new hard drive. Have everything backed up using Time Machine Capsule but struggling to access it via apple laptop.

Helppppp.....

I * think * there's a repair shop just before the side slip road to the M32 on Mina Road, but can't remember its name, nor whether it is still there.

Should just be a case of plugging it in to the laptop and using the password you used/setup on the iMac.

What are you trying to do just access a few files before the iMac comes back ?

There's Farpoint along Walcot Street in Bath, who are a Premier Reseller, and who may be able to help; I bought my PowerBook and Mac Mini from them, and they've always been very helpful.
There's also Western Computers in Bristol:

Cheers all. My iMac is now with Western. I'll have a chat with them.

Jam - 'Should' is such a large word when it comes to computers...
