[Closed] anything to do in Crewe for an hour? (near train station)

Another good reason to try and get a car. Getting a train from Derby to Carlisle, 2 changes an hour layover in Crewe and a bus for the final leg. Endless. Anyway anything near the station to kill an hour? ta

You could ponder the fact that Crewe is one of the most extensive railway junctions in the world. Bound to be some reference to it somewhere.

Lots of pubs on Nantwich road about 5 minutes away.

Nice chippy just outside the station, london end of the platform is a good place to spot trains, overlooks the diesel depot.

Not a lot else in Crewe, and the town is a good walk away.

Eat a takeaway? I was on my way to cxi's house and I don't think I have ever seen a town with so many takeaway outlets!!!

Crewe must have the lowest number of people per head that can cook for themselves on the planet
