And specifically the 16-50 f2.8 (throughout the focal range) kit lens?
Is the lens as good as it's individual selling price would suggest - in which case I'd buy the bundle, rather than body only. The lens is £300 bundled, as opposed to £500 on it's own

Not the 77II but know the lens very well as I used it on my A77 when I had one.
It is not your normal kit lens by any means. It is a G series lens in all but name and very very good.

Ah, good to hear - now to find £1300. Currently have the A55 and fancy an upgrade

The A77 was brilliant. Loved it to bits-just thoroughly enjoyable to use.
Haven't used the Mk II but no reason to suspect it's any less nice to own.
