You shoot something and the bullet explodes/melts and freezes the impact like time has stopped?

Apparently if you are a good shot, time stops for the target pretty instantly…

I'm just wondering why someone with the OP's history is allowed anywhere near any sort of live ammunition...

"Not convinced" KE energy of bullet /energy conservation / latent heat of fusion etc
I think it may just be a clever "reconstruction".

Are you suggesting that I put the pebble in a plastic bag, smacked it with a hammer, collected all the pieces up, used hot glue to stick them together, painted over the glue with copper and gold acrylic and then drew on the target in order to mislead the internet?

How dare you!

I had thought had never entered my mind.

I must admit that makes a lot more sense because I did not understand the OP at all! Thought you'd had one too many bumps on the head 🤣

Aaarghhh (I know) but if it were a thing and you shot a living being would they be dead or alive or both. It's hurting my head.

It is actually a test piece for something a little bolder. I quite fancy something like this in the garden.

Without access to WorldClassRisk materials, one can only be an IncidentalClassAccident. I have no idea what is going on in this thread ...

The photo is a bit confused but it looks to me as if the copper jacket has been stripped off the lead by friction of the material. The lead will be embedded a bit deeper. I've seen it happen with bullets fired into sand.
