iPad or iPad 2?
I've got the black Apple one on my iPad and it's spot on - looks good and does the job.

As above the black Apple one. Great fit, works well and surprisingly robust
iPad 1 and I use a leather incase. Not cheap, bit bulky, but it gets used everyday and gets thrown around at work. It's done it's job we'll so far
get the apple one, secures in place by magnets and folds up to prop your ipad on
got the apple leather one in cream on my ipad2 - nice cover for the screen, doesn't protect the back but the biggest downer is that it gets dirty very very quickly
