As above. Thinking about getting one but was wondering, all the music on the PC is stored in itunes. Can you stream music in this format via a Sony box?

Don't think Sony make HiFis - more like MidFis...

Sony used to make really good quality hifi separates, their amps, cd players, tape decks and speakers were very good indeed. I don't know when they stopped doing high-end separates. Still got my big minidisc recorder, thinking I might try to shoehorn it into my audio system again.

not sure about describing their amps and speakers as very good indeed.

The ES range I presume?

Sorry hifi snobs, I didn't want to insult anyone.

I suppose even thinking of listening to streamed music held on a PC or via an iPod is just too much for you to bear...

streaming music has nothing to do with the quality of the amp and speakers used to play it on.

Sony gear is far from best of breed, is all I was pointing out.
