Shall I tell you my Paralympics joke?

I watched bits of it, but less than 5 hours in total (that includes the opening ceremony) and while it was alright it didn't set my heart on fire or fill me with GB pride
I will be interested to see how many Facebook updates there are for the paralympics or the next athletics meeting at Sheffield

Paralympics - it doesn't matter who gets the gold medal....

I thought it was going to be either "What do you call the olympic swimming events? - Vegetable soup." or "Today the paralympians are our sporting heroes, tomorrow the Department of Snide Innuendo will be round to ask why if they are so good at sport they are still claiming benefit and not working"
And before anyone gets too righteous I am visually-impaired, humour is one of the ways that we cope with our conditions.
My defence is that someone else told me it.
