Bin working in whitby past few weeks, never heard out till tonight, air raid siren and machine gun fire in the distance???? Anyone know bout it??

Only siren I can think of is one that goes off on Teesside somewhere but I doubt you could hear it all the way down in Whitby.
Heard a massive bang when I was there once, it was a Lifeboat callout.
Yeah new weathies we do em all over country n then re fit them 3 years later ;/ it aint vampires as they all gone home when goth week finished lol, its clear as a bell and can hear gunfire its unmistakeable semi auto fire, raf flyingdale near by but cant be doing manouvers at this time??? N not lifeboats as it would be a huge bang n flaires n were rite near the harbour.
