Due to lack of space I can't fit a normal swing frame in my garden.so, I'm thinking of building a frame and hanging a swing on that. If anyone has done it what size timbers did you use? How deep did you set the posts in and has it stood the test of time?

Am I missing something? If you don't have room for the frame then shirley you won't have the room to swing????

Swings normally operate in 2 dimensions, not 3

All swings work in 3 dimensions, unless you are watching one on the telly.

What I'm thinking of building would consist of two uprights with a crossbeam to hang the swing on. When the swing is not in use the swing could be unclipped or hung to one side to allow access down to the bottom of the garden. Unfortunately I cant fit one in anywhere else... ๐Ÿ™
