[Closed] Anyone else seen the film Dogtooth?

Saw it when it was on general release. Fantastic but yes, very strange.

I have forgot about watching that film, nearly as bad as the human centipede. 😯

I also saw it on Film4 a while ago, and I really liked it, but I do like strange films - eclectic taste I believe it's called 😉

I think it achieved it's objectives very well; dark humour, challenging the familiar construct of the family, addressing the link between language and reality and the ways in which sexual behaviour behaviour can be horribly misused.

I found it bothered me more than a gory horror, possibly because it's more plausible? Some people close to me experienced sustained psychological and physical abuse in their childhood so I guess it digs some of that up too.
