4 day weekend for me (well, 3 and a half, finished at lunchtime on friday).
5 dates with 4 women.
And a 6th date tonight.
I'm going to need to up my intake of super-mega-ultra vitamins.
Think that counts as epically badly planned, rather than stupid.
Only the normal really. Riding in the sloppy mud and rain after all the wind and rain of Saturday evening and expecting it to be somehow not a total ball ache when I got back home?
I must've spent just as long cleaning bike and kit as I did riding.
205km road ride (Audax) on a fixie...
Replaced the shifter/brake lever on my gravel bike. Pig of a job. Stripped two brand new bolts doing it, fortunately I could replace with the ones from the old unit.
However, it was all worth it on my ride to work today, where it rode and shifted like a new bike. 🙂
Some thing came up and I needed a days leave. Not the days between Christmas and New Year. My leave request was declined for a totally unreasonable reason. We have a team of 12, 2 are on leave and they state we need the cover over the period, bearing in mind this is during school holidays. Minimum staffing level is 7.
I have decided to challenge this just for the sake of it and because we have a management team that couldn't find their arses with both hands. They have a leave ban from the 18th December to 12 January. Leave had to be in by October. WTF. What if something unforeseen comes up as it did for me?
I may not be working here for much longer 🙂
