I have never been and the kids are desperate to go....i have the actual accomms etc sorted but have no idea re how long it takes to get to Eurostar station etc.
I did a search for flights but for all of us would be approx £750!!
Has anyone been ther from Scotland and how long does it take to get to st pancras or any suggestions in general(helpful ones!) 🙂

Edinburgh to kings cross takes 5 hours or just less. Kings cross is next to St Pancras so no tube required at the London end. Euston ( west coast from Glasgow) takes about the same time and is a short walk (10 minutes) from St Pancras. The sleeper could be an option if you could get bargain berths.

If you did fly, the links from Luton would be best for St Pancras.

We once made the mistake of going by train from Aberdeen to get a flight from LHR. Was ok on the way out, but on the way back we were just going mental, dead tired, listening to horrible chavs' leaky headphones and drunken squaddies on their way to get more booze from the buffet.

Never again!

How many kids do you have? If it comes to it, decide how many kids you can afford to take and then pick your favourites and take them.

Sorted.

I'm doing it this Summer.
From Fife to Paris. 1x 4yr and 1x 6yr (Wife and I are just as excited tho!)

Car all the way as we wanted to stay in the Davey C Ranch, so we wern't forced to go to the parks every day.

I wanted the independence of having the car with me, so I'm on the ferry.
Staying in Canterbury so I'm not trying to drive all night to get to Dover for 9am.

I use the Via Michelin website for timings and fuel costs.

Use it all the time and it's always been spot on !
