an mp3 player that gives you the option of setting the output to Mono instead of just stereo?
i'd like to be able to hear the whole mix in one ear when riding, instead of half the band depending on which earphone i put in.

what a genius solution... much cheaper than buying a new mp3 player
but much less exciting than buying a new shiney mp3 player.
