Calcium Oxide (lime)

Always thought concrete, cement and mortar were pretty much the same thing with different stuff added.

Glass mainly silicon dioxide but with some calcium oxide to depress the melting point.

Pretty easy homework assuming it's on thermal decomposition of Calcium Carbonate and teh uses of Calcium Oxide.
