Saw a car on the way home tonight that was just beautiful. It was a sports car, looked late 60's / early 70's, possibly French?. On the back it had V8 and a letter (can't remember what it was). The headlights were quite distinctive, looked slightly menacing, and it was reasonably big. Anybody suggest what it was?

They are beautiful. My dad's mate had one. Not that expensive. £30 to £40k for a nice one.

That could well be the car - a rare thing but there were at least 3 of them from the UK over at the Le Man Classic event this weekend.
Quite a strange looking car when you see them in the flesh, something about them just doesn't look right IMO, not helped by the simply staggering display of cars on show and being thrashed around the track over the weekend.
If anyone has the opportunity to go then I strongly advise making the trip, for me its 100X better than the actual 24hr race.

It's alright, they're French.You'll only get 20 yards down the road before it pours petrol in your lap and the indicator switch that's under the seat shoots up your jacksie.
