@MCTD Yes, nasal polyps spotted by GP using that little torch thing they use to peak into your ears.

Jeez, how big must a nasal polyp be to be seen via your ear?

Just spoken with my Dr. Seems a lot of people are being left with sinus issues which also affects the bodies ability to fight infection. She says I’m suffering from post nasal drip from infected / blocked sinuses.

Que a week of steaming and antibiotics 3 x a day.

I'm finally starting to feel better, been 2.5 months of almost non-stop coughing etc
My ears are working sometimes (they tend to be full in the mornings still, but clear somewhat through the day) and i've hardly coughed for the last 2 or 3 days. Starting to feel a bit more alive and interested in doing more than work, browsing and bed. Went on Zwift for a very gentle ride today - first since the end of September!
Might even get around to fixing the roof rack back on the car and getting out into the woods soon if this really is the light at the end of the tunnel 🙂

The Mrs had it early December, started out as a sickness bug then changed to full on flu like symptoms. She is only just getting over it.
She passed it on to me for Christmas, I started to feel bad on the 20th with the nausea symptoms now is full on flu. It feels like my head is going to explode and then there incessant coughing and sneezing along with the running nose. Apparently this morning she's had enough of the noises I'm making..
Judging by the comments on here, I've got at least another week of it. Ho joy of joys.
I'm dreading getting back on a bike, I haven't ridding since late November because of a shoulder injury so fitness wise I'd lost most of it before contracting this. On top of that I suffer from sciatica from time to time, inactivity seems to set it off. So I'm suffering with that atm too.

My left sinus seems to have finally cleared! Still got a bit of a cough, but we're slowly getting there 🙂

Yep, had this exactly for the last 3 or 4 months, stopped exercising as i dont have the energy which is affecting my mental health, not been on the bike for ages as just constantly struggling to feel well.

Not been to docs yet but if it continues then i might get a phone appointment just for a check up.

im proper fed up with it now.

I'm on day 3(?) of some type of snotty/throat thing. I though that this excerpt from my Garmin Connect HRV status report was interesting too...
