Thinking of taking a contract in Belgum, I have heard that the agent will want to handle payroll, but the tax system over there looks nasty. Anybody had any experiences with Belgum tax, or working over there in general?
I've worked in Belgium although I was paid via the UK. Nice little towns with great beer.
Can you invoice from the UK and do your own payroll?
