try ringing your local vet, there should be a 24hour on call number

One of ours had an intestinal infection a couple of years ago - seems similar. Get to vets in the morning and in the meantime little food and just rice/chicken etc just in case.

Is the dog well in itself?, any previous history and age etc of dog would all be useful.

Pics can be good too!

ring nhs direct, theyll most probably have no idea, but they will interogate you for 15 minutes, and will send an ambulance round.

As above may be colitis/inflammatory bowel disease. Starve for 24 hrs and if no better then take to vets with a faecal sample 😆

hi, my dogs just had thje same thing, took her to the vets this week and the vet said she had eaten something that didnt agree with her, and she should be starved for 24 hours, then given a bit of dry food or rice, chicken ect little but often after that, and introduce food again slowly, she did give her an injection to calm her stomach down, but after she was starved, she was ok. i wouldnt worry. it cost me £65 when i went, just starve her for the 24 hours first, i bet she will be fine. the vet also said that jellyfied poos and blood in the stool ius common in dogs if they have eaten something that didnt agree with them.

normal turds have resumed today..woohoo it was (almost) a pleasure to pick it up, rather than trying to scoop shitty jelly up with my hands in a plazzy bag!!
i'm going to assume since he is on a very strict diet he just scoffed some rotting corpse of a fox/badger/cat/bird etc etc up in the woods behind my house to satisfy his greed/hunger...
