Going back to the original topic I met my wife at one of the first ever Singletrack weekends at Dalbeattie. We were camping beside each other, hit it off and the rest is history. We got married in 2005 and now run our own business in Glencoe.

My other half otherwise known as Flowerpower, bought me a Giant Reign X for my birthday. Ace. Her reasoning was my little HT Wouldn't keep up with her on the big mountains. not much has changed to be honest. now we have two dogs.
That was going well until the last few words 😉Onzadog - MemberThink my missus looks a bit like her bike. Shiny and well cared for, an still turn heads, hard working, does the job without complaint, can only see signs of age/wear if you know where to look but doesn't get ridden often enough.
Funilly enough, the wife was of the same opinion as you bunnyhop. Focused on the negatives, no credit for the positives. 😀
I'm more like my camelbak: Thin straps, dirty bottom and weak bladder, good carrying capacity though and holds plenty of chocolate.

I like to think I'm like my road bike AM bike
Roadie - sleek, fast, light.
AM bike - looks fantastic, is hard as nails, can handle pretty much anything and part of it extends to 12 inches long at the touch of a button.
In reality, what I'm actually like is my jump/hack/SS bike. Sluggish, a bit of rust in places, cheap but a couple of interesting bits and from Yorkshire.
I'm ready for you ladies :-s
I met my partner at Mountain Mayhem 2010. He was camping in the next pitch! We now live together with our 6 bikes stuffed into the spare room! 🙂
