Will be heading up to the islands this summer and was just wondering if there were any 'cheeky trails' on Kintyre (Caradale forest etc)?

Any tips greatly appreciated!

Cheeky does not compute. Open access, innit.

Sorry, I can't be any help. The one time I was down Kintyre, the snow was deep, the wind flattened half the trees and I had to work. No riding was done. ๐Ÿ˜•

There are some built trails up the back of Campbeltown, I think there is some info on the tourist info page. I'm not sure if there's much elsewhere, I don't recall seeing anything when I rode the Kintyre Way. There's a lot of forest in that area and not so many people. The Kintyre Way north of Carradale is nice to ride, but not very gnar.

Consider yourself a pioneer. Its lowland style farming country. There is the kintyre way, fooTpaths and fire roads. i doubt anyone will have built anything!
