My mum. 93. Operative behind the lines during the French occupation. Fierce to the end.

A big thank you to all at QA hospital in Portsmouth. Diligent and caring despite everything thrown at them. Heroes too.

Can't add anything more than that, Maybe you could write an obituary that you you could post on here, I'm sure many others find such accounts of such lives both moving and inspirational.

Thank you. Not SOE. French, so French army (and not Free French Army, but the bit the 'never surrendered' as she proudly said, in North Africa). She didn't share the closest details, but when my wife offered to lend her 'Charlotte Grey' she said that didn't need to read it as she'd lived it !
