FoxyChick - thats not welsh rarebit, should have egg yolks , mustard, flour , butter (makes a bechemel type sauce) brown ale, touch of worcestershire sauce, using proper welsh chedder

[i]Or...... make your cheese sandwich, cut a hole in the middle of it with a glass in a biscuit cutter stylee, plop an egg in there once its on the skillet and fry for about four or five minutes on each side, also with this method, the bit you have cut out of the sandwich will be ready to eat about a minute before the rest of it it, so you can scoff that whilst waiting for the rest.[/i]

It might just be the best idea in the world ever, if not it's extremely close I reckon, the fella who showed me how to make it deserves a knighthood or something.

Amateurs.

Make basic cheese on toast.

Add Ketchup

Add a good dash of Tobasco or Hot sauce.

Eat.
