I'm not a big hitter/poster on here so most won't 'know' me and very few will have met me but rather than hit the ripe old age of 60 in 2026, and go on a cruise or a Spa weekend, I fancied doing Lands End to John O Groats...and it seemed pointless doing it without trying to raise a few quid for a worthy cause. I've had cancer and heart issues over the years but I'm fundraising for Andysmanclub...a 'Mens Suicide Prevention' charity. This time of year can be a really shite time for mental health.

I'm obviously self funding every aspect of the trip and doing it self supported, 1/2 hotels, 1/2 camping.

Many thanks. Dave

Thanks. It was going very well...and then we sold our house (In France), buyers want a quick completion and are paying extra to various folk to achieve this...and we have had to pack a 4 bed house, getting rid of what we could, made one trip to UK so far in a hire van, a 2nd trip to do next week, sale shortly after, found a UK house etc etc....so the last 6 weeks and the next 3 are 'challenging' for quality miles.....altho I do ride to the hire place to collect the van...so thats a few extra miles....

It'll be reet....start with Cornwall and Devon, no hills there obv....
