British Gas

3 different final electricty bills and an attempt to make me rejoin them.

What a set of arse holes.

I agree, but up here they call themselves scottish gas, excatly the same scenario, the cheapest one being £135 odd, when it was finally resolved 3 months after leaving them the final bill was £24, slight difference. Gave them the reading about 8 times and ending up writing to the chief executive and sending him a bill for my time, wasn't paid but it made the point.

tell me about it. 3 dates to update our gas meter, all three times haven't turned up. They were supposed to be coming today, and haven't. Phoned up "oh, its down for 13th September" WTF??? £25 rebate on our gas bill is the only slightly good thing about this.

Let's not for get Vodafone I know the phone option numbers off by heart

The only one you need to know is option 2 disconnection services clearly where they employ empowered staff
