I am slightly confused by one thing though, and I think this is a nice "diet". The one day a week thing... I could eat as many calories in one day in chocolate as I could lose by not eating AT ALL all week. So I presume some common sense it so be applied 😀

Yes, you could EAT that many calories, but you won't gain that much weight.
The body is a lot more complicated than the 'calories in vs calories out' bleaters would have you believe. You give it calories, and what it does with them depends on a massive range of factors.
Almost certainly firewall/proxy related - sugarsync is a personal cloud storage site, blacklisted by many - try the link as normal http and you might get a proper error.
