We have a Girl and boy and I remember when everyone was asking "do you want a boy or a girl" and my mouth would say "Oh I don't mind" but my brain was shouting " Boy Boy Boy"
Now try slipping in "Danger" as his middle name, on the birth certificate.
He's home. We're together as a family and it feels wonderful.
Thank you one and all for the kind words, and much expected and enjoyed mickey taking, above!

Daftvader, given that you're 'local' worth mentioning that Basingstoke hospital were truly excellent. OK, so unlike Chelsea and Westminster, there's a woeful lack of great French delis over the road, but the overall standard of care was first class.
yup, minivader was bought into the world there. I know people who cant stand the place but I thought they were fantastic.... up to the point where the midwife asked if I wanted to get into the birthing pool with mrsvader... bleurgh!!!! and it does have a costa now ๐
Got chatting to another second time father who was coming over every day from Newbury because he'd heard good things. He was right.
Midwives were brilliant, but oddly it was the cleaners who really set it apart. So cheerful and helpful. Brilliant, really.
glad everything went well for you all. and when the dust settles and you are allowed out again will have to hook up for a ride.
Very much so! I still owe Cinnamon Girl a ride* as well, so will organise something!
*Stop that!

I was channelling Frankie Howerd!
congrats flashy!
(interestingly, you popped into my head just a short while ago. I was listening to a man sat beside me waiting to board a flight to Dublin last night, making some sort of important business noises into his mobile. He was doing his best to sound VERY important. However, I noticed that he still had the bloody labels attached to his suit jacket! Stylish! I got a photo though ๐
