what about kids stuff?
It has the Julia Donaldson stuff, Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and Stick Man. Our three year old loves them. I think it's better for kids films to be honest, so not much for a 17 month old that I've seen.
Jean Claude Van Johnson. I laughed. Dunno if they can make a series from it...
I cast Amazon video app from phone or tablet via main device settings to Chromecast. Means the screen has to stay on and I can't fiddle around while it's on but does the job.

We loved Brain Dead. As said before not very taxing, but very entertaining
Also helps if you've never got over your crush on Ramona Flowers ๐ณ
Had to google her
Yup
We had "stinky and dirty" gate this weekend when my 21month old who is obsessed with tractors insisted it must be on the telly at all times and had massive tantrums when told it wasn't on. For hours. In the end we had to go out....
Awesome news about badlands #2
Casting a chromebook tab works fine for me. Better now than a year ago, for I know not what reason (used to go a bit jerky, not anymore).
Vikings, basically.
Bosch. Trope-tastic, but I bloody love it.
Man in the high castle, really enjoyed it.
Sneaky Pete
Black Sails
If you fancy something non ntaxing then Lucifer has made me laugh a lot tonight.
Si
Echo most of the above and also worth a look are (decent to good shows):
Hand of God
Outlander
Mozart in the Jungle
Transparent (1st season at least)
Extant is ok
The Walking Dead
Good girls revolt
If you're ok with reading subtitles (or can understand Italian), then Gommorah is worth a watch.
Red Road, Startup, Mr Robot, Vikings and most of the Amazon originals are decent
From 2015 but I missed it back then
