Got an email from Alpkit saying they've refined the Ordos tents and will have them in stock soon. On paper they tick all the right boxes - anyone got one or used one? I'm slightly wary of the too good to be true price!

How did £175/225 get to be a too good to be true price?

fasthaggis YGM.

I think the price is good for those tents, it's about £100 less than some competitors!

cheap tents arent worth what they charge....

I have never met anyone camping in a field, with it heaving down with rain, and blowing a gale say "i really regret not saving some money and buying a cheap tent instead of this terra nova"

- the (older) alpkit tents fell into the good quality at reasonable price bracket in my mind, not saying the alpkit ones are cheap and to be avoided
