Ha ha Lewis twists the knife a little bit more

quoted off Planetf1

Asked if Alonso's comments were a case of sour grapes, Hamilton replied: "Yeah.

"I even saw him overtaken by a Sauber on the big screen (referring to Kamui Kobayashi's pass on Alonso on the penultimate lap).

"It's very unlike him to be overtaken by a Sauber so he must have been completely in another world. But I don't understand why I affected his race so much.

"Everyone has a right to their opinion, and he must be disappointed with his own result, but I didn't do anything to him."

Jeeesus, what next? He makes a mobile call to his friends in Stevenage to get the beer on whilst going through an S-bend?

Only won the title last year because he had by far the best car at season start.

You could say something very similar about most world champions. The thing is, last year was the first time Button had a car he had a chance in, and he took full advantage.

I like the fact Lewis was watching the big screen while driving he must have nearly pi**ed himself laughing.

There was a story about Fangio (I think) at Monaco who drove around a crash at Mirabo because he realised on the way into the hairpin that all the spectators were not watching him drive into the corner but at something around the corner so took precations before he knew what the problem was ... must be nice to be switched on enough to take in & process that much info.

a few years back Kimi Raikkonen at Spa - he stayed flat on the throttle though Eau Rouge & up Raidillon even though it was obvious that there was an unsighted incident at the top & smoke covering the circuit

He later claimed that that it was never a risk as any crash would be off the tarmac by the time he got there ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Clever man or loony?

I have a feeling that Raikkonen is actually the Finnish word for loony
