Just to add a bit more about Joey, she was in quite a bad state when she first came to live with me, she basically had nowhere else to go, but once she got a steady job, and having settled circumstances, she was a bit happier, although she still drank. Her main problem was depression, mainly due to her prior brain damage, and that was the most difficult thing to deal with, hearing her say she just didn’t want to be anymore, is so very hard to hear. She was a very sweet, lovely person, and apart from the drinking, which was less frequent, a joy to be around.

I miss her very much.
