[#3920256]

Just saw them on my Sky+.box from Jooles Holland on Friday night.

The first band in ages to make me want to go out and buy their CD and watch them live.

Wicked performance.

Currently can't leave Twist O Lettz alone, but someone did manage to play me Alabama Shakes album last week and I was vaguely interested. Seeing them live (as it were) on Jools was way more impressive than the CD.

I actually preferred the Carolina Chocolate Drops, might have to do some shopping now. Alabama Shakes are pretty good though

They just seem to be missing that extra spark to be great, its kind of like listening to a really good covers band without knowing any of the songs they are covering.

edit: having just googled Carolina Chocolate Drops, its a completely different style of music, not even remotely comparable, no more relevant than a steps reunion would be.

Bit like preferring the Civil Wars, completely different style of music. Incredible live, though.
