Can anyone near Southport hospital bring me a decent coffee???

Unexpected admission miles from home and the coffee here is beyond dire

I really would if I were there. I understand the need for coffee.

Hope you are ok.

I echo Molgrips. Coffee is one of life's pleasure. Hope you're okay adjustable?

I feel a lot better than I did, but due to have a lumbar puncture and therefore will be laying flat for 6 hours. A coffee before that would be heavenly

I just had an odd moment at a gala dinner (early on and not alcohol related) where I became unresponsive. All very bizarre luckily I was in a room full of medics. I was out for a few mins so they are just checking my brain for leaks.

If I was I would.
I'm in hospital (work) and have some freshly ground coffee from local coffee shop.
Would it help if I pour myself some and describe it to you?

I'm OK really - just coffee deprived.

10 in 6 weeks must be some kind or record. . .

luckily I was in a room full of medics.

We were flying back from a medical conference when someone on the shuttle bus to the plane started to suffer chest pains. I got the driver to turn round and go back to the terminal. In the meantime I managed to get some aspirin from a woman on the bus and said to the guy that as long as he didn't have any stomach conditions and hadn't had an issue with aspirin in the past he might want to take them but obviously it was entirely down to him, I wasn't in any way qualified to advise him. On that bus were 15 - 20 of the fully qualified medical doctors who had been at our conference. Not a single one of them stepped forward to offer any help or advice to the man. All of them prioritised getting on their flight home over helping. I'm glad the medics you were with were a better bunch than on that bus.

I'll be having one in about an hour with a big piece of homemade white chocolate caramel shortcake as I need a boost for the ride home.

I'll enjoy on your behalf 🙂

I'm glad much coffee and cake is being consumed - I shall try and enjoy it vicariously

I'm amazed any of them were sober. The only reason you have those little alcohol hand sanitisers in hospitals is to mask the smell of gin.

No long black ones here . . . Probably wouldn't be wise to excite my blood pressure right now either 😉

Luckily it was early in the evening so little alcohol had been consumed
