Just joined too! Meant to when I first saw thread, gives me an excuse to play with my 1st DSLR, though I reckon there will be several dodgy one's from the phone to make it every day. Have missed 2nd/3rd already!

Dez

I like photos with people in but dont have any friends down here. Just a few colleagues really oh and Roper doesnt like having his pic taken when out riding. You dont have to look at my ugly mug you know - there are many more beautiful people on flickr 😀 For the record, I do realise I am no Brad Pit, Keanau Reeves or Justin Timberlake. I don't believe I have any misguided delusions of adequacy in that area.

Simon - yes! Nothing to do with not having you in them, but those 2 pics are much better photographs. Especially the 2nd one.

I've just joined the One photo every day 365 group on Flickr - I'm modalshift on there.

I'm enjoying the challenge, although I've found it much harder to get decent pictures this weekend in the grey murky light than it was last week with the freezing cold and the clear skies. Anyway, I'm hoping to keep going for the year - it can only help me get better!

I love the sky rays Simon, but is it too boring to ask for the horizon to be level ?

Do you think they stood back and took a look at the sign before they paid a fortune to the design company?

Famous wildlife photog Jim Brandenburg did a 90-day stint, taking only 1 photo a day near his home in the late 1990s. It was featured in National Geographic (more info here) and was published as a book, Chased By The Light.

UK landscape/mountain snapper Ken Scott has an exhibition of the 366 images he selected during 2008.

I post on a site that has people putting up a picture a day, not necessarily taken that day as some show a group of photos from a day out, spread over a few days.

Some great photos get posted there, It's called aminus3.com if anyone is interested.
