If you want to see how bad a program can be about cars then check out ITV4's 'I Want That Car' it's a bit like a place in the sun or location location location with cars..
It is pretty bad to put it politely.

It's appalling ... The most appalling car show I've ever seen.
Try PS on NTV and Turbo On M6. Dominique Chapatte has been presenting Turbo since 87 without even mildly irritating me.
How annoying IS that woman's voice presenting this dross?
It really does follow the house programme format doesn't it?
Step 1 - someone appears and says "I have an implausible amount of money to drop on a car / house"
Step 2 - has a nose around a load of expensive cars / houses
Step 3 - doesn't buy a car or house, because they never had the cash...

you know most of the top gear haters still watch it so they can rant about it. They don't want a substitute!
I'll watch [u]ANYTHING[/u] that has an engine in it. I even watch (and enjoy) Michael Portillo's train journeys and on every episode I'm amazed by Portillo's colour matching 😆
