Will you be posting daily updates?
At least you're going the right way with the wind behind you, even if it is all uphill to Scotland 😉
Good luck, imagine how fast and fit you'll be by the JOG!

Crikey someone could've mentioned that the hills are relentless in Cornwall and Devon, and that panniers are heavy.

On the plus side the extra weight makes breaking speed limits on descents a hell of a lot easier 🙂

Yeah, just North of there at a mates.

Not too bad C_G I'd advise a proper bike fitting though, and some rest before hand. One of my knees is buggered but has seemed better since I lowered my saddle this morning.

Hereford is my next stop now.

he's doing it the right way - tail wind

On average. If only it wasn't actually a N to NE wind forecast!

Ha, if I make it to Edinburgh I'm going to need someone to play nurse for me. Whilst I appreciate your professional credentials Jeremy I'm looking to recruit a female for this role.

Junky, you sure you don't mind three lads turning up on your doorstep... some clothes washing facilities could be a real bonus... at least I can't leave my other pair of lycra shorts behind I suppose.

Going to need a bike shop soon anyway. I've packed for the south... not the north. All my jerseys are SS, and now I hear you're not even in double figure temps up in Scotland.... what's that all about?

I'm fully equipped for sun druidh... ideally in 20+ degs. Thinking of coming through Inners? Route planning is pretty haphazard if I'm honest, and changes with almost every mile.

Nice one iDave, is tequila a local speciality of Mkt Drayton? When in Rome and all that...

You might actually be a legend Junky, nice one. I'll drop you a line... the amount of food we've been putting away there's no chance of any of us hitting 10 stone though 😀

Think the sentence that best sums up the trip so far...

That assos arse stuff is ****ing magic

Not really Yeti. Where are you? How's your dodgy knee? How's your arse? Does Junkyard need to lube up this evening?

Hope he doesn't mind me posting....they made kendal last night. I'll leave him to do the up-dates on highs and lows from mine tomorrow unless he makes it to a pc before then.

I'm due to talk to him fairly soon so i shall pass on your love 🙂
