[#7355864]

This Saturday I've got a couple of buddies coming from the US for the to take in a few RWC games.

They are arriving at Heathrow on different flights. 1st one 0930ish T3 then second one midday - ish T2.

Can anyone suggest somewhere on or off the airport we could go and hang around for a few hours whilst waiting for the second flight? Perhaps a greasy spoon or something else we could grab a fine English breakfast or other meal?

TIA!

What about 10 pin bowling, Airport Bowl, just off of the perimeter ring road, opens at 10am.

How about a wander round runnymede. enough history to really blow the mind of an American ๐Ÿ™‚ there's a couple of ok pubs round there too although it might be a bit early for food. Some of the lakes have visitor centres with cafes.

There's a truckers caff on the A4 between LHR and Slough, along the Colnbrook Bypass, just after it goes over the M25, close to a 'Gentleman's Club'. I would imagine they do a great greasy fry-up, there's always loads of 'Executive' car drivers there in the morning.

Americans? Pop over to Windsor and have a look at Lizzies place? Not far from Heathrow.
