I knew we didn't want to rely on beating Stoke. Last week v Swansea and many dropped points for draws throughout the season did for us (I won't blame 8 points dropped due to dodgy refereeing).

I'd have thought that Bournemouth could just find a hotel and play it tomorrow, behind closed doors if necessary to avoid a policing issue? Does anyone care apart from the prize money situation, and they can surely sort that out in some way?

robbie savage summed it up best [ and i hate him]
Spurs managed to finish third in a two horse race

He also pointed ut Sunderland scored more goals than Man U though

Still we might put 19 past Bournemouth and get a CL place ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not sure if second or third makes any difference to CL seeding but its extra prize money and its the principal of fighting to the end of the season and yes of course the relative position to Arsenal matters particularly this year.

Once again Chapeau to Leicester who won the league by 10 points, a proper spanking !

Police at ManU said device was not viable - I assume that means it was a poorly made bomb rather than not a bomb

Indeed, now it's all over and you look at the table to see Leicester winning by TEN points.....its just incredible!

Where on earth will they finish next year?

Just looked at the table - how on earth did they even get in with a shout of Champions League scoring so few goals? Mind you - how did West Brom not get relegated only scoring 34?

Football's a funny old game. Sad I know but I'll probably never get the opportunity to use this useless football statistic again but Man City were top scorers this season as they were in 1937 but that year they got relegated though. After being champions the year before. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

As an ex-GK, and knowing how much everyone loves goals I'm tempting a flaming here, but a goal prevented is just as valuable in the final count as one scored at the other end.

Bottom half.

That's the sort of thing (and worse) they said about Southampton after they lost so many players.

I've no doubt CL football will stretch them fixture wise and be a distraction but my prediction ... top half at least and qualify from their CL group

Yes but GKs are notoriously mad and therefore say mad things so you are excused, no flaming.

Blackburn Rovers
Might win one CL game but will be humiliated in a few as well. - did you see how long Man City took to adapt and look what they spent

I think they will be lucky to make Europa from League

Its a big ask this season.

I think United have kept more clean sheets than anyone this season?

It's a kind of torture devised by LVG for people watching MOTD. Not only will you fail to see United have more than one shot on target, you'll not see the opposition score either. So it's actually even less fun than watching Villa!

Anyway.... he'll play De Gea up front for the Bournmouth match, who will score 20, thus getting us into the CL. You heard it here first! ๐Ÿ˜€

OT device was a training device left by a private firm after a sniffer dog exercise, according to the BBC.

"Following today's controlled explosion, we have since found out that the item was a training device which had accidentally been left by a private company following a training exercise involving explosive search dogs.

"While this item did not turn out to be a viable explosive, on appearance this device was as real as could be, and the decision to evacuate the stadium was the right thing to do, until we could be sure that people were not at risk."

I hope they have the budget to reimburse fans for their travelling and ticket costs ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Oh man, that was sweet....what the hell were the NUFC players on? Makes you wonder why they were so poor this season, the fans must feel cheated.

Always remember to take the end of season games with a pinch of salt (though I'm still to see MOTD - at least my folks would have had a decent afternoon out)

Out of 9 pts we shouldn't have got (Man C, Liverpool and Spurs) we got 5, should have had 7. Should have taken AV apart, should should should....

The reaction is mixed, for some it's the right thing, other just gutted. Clinging on and Bernitez not getting full control would lead to the same problems. Failing and keeping him chance, some crap has been on the cheap and the same controls in place = disaster.

Last week the Spaniard, who took over in March, said he had "positive" discussions with club chiefs.

"My heart is telling me yes, it is a great opportunity, city and club," the former Real Madrid boss told BBC Sport.

"But my brain is saying to analyse what is going on."

Least subtle - there are things I've asked for and they are stalling probably the usual control over all things football

Binners, reckon you'll get shorter odds on your plan than Leicester winning the whole thing

Apparently the suspicious package was a trophy, must have looked right out of place at OT these days....

Spurs ๐Ÿ˜†

I didn't realise that Mr Kane and his lions were actually stalking 3rd place.

And that Arsenal selfie taken just after they had beaten us, just delicious stuff.

Has North London been running 'castration in the community' workshops?

Clyne, Lovren, Toure, Moreno across the back. There's a defence to inspire confidence. ๐Ÿ˜€

Likewise, but I am far too tight to buy a top, so have just filled the fruit bowl with oranges.

I remember thinking when there was the bruhaha over ticket allocations that Liverpool fans would end up getting loads of them one way or another and end up mixed in with Sevilla fans. Bloody last thing that's needed tonight is crowd trouble. Christ knows what'll happen once the game starts if they're already at it. ๐Ÿ˜

I hope they win

However its mainly because i am training tomorrow and the parade will pass by work and block the road so it ends at 2:30 if they win and 4:30 if they lose.

I bet I have stood in the Kop more times than the plastic scousers on here - Man U was always to hard to get tickets but you could always get in at Liverpool...again True dat and YNWA is a proper hair on the back of the neck moment

IMHO, even with all the foreigners involved, you should still support UK based team as long as its not Celtic* - Just for DD that one as the first game I ever saw was at Ibrox - again true story.

* Edinburgh defence

Really couldn't care less about Celtic to be honest JY. If i had to support a scottish team, it would be Hibs (because they have Sunshine Over Leith) or Partick. The whole Old Firm thing doesn't do much for me.
