Plenty of those being sold on ebay for £16-£18.

Yes I have two. They are good, they stopped selling them for a while as there were problems with the chargers.

The revamped version had their logo printed on and an improved connector and charger.

bought a second a couple of months ago and they now come with a rubber sheath (oh err) for the battery.

They seem to have done some work to improve them. I would prefer to buy one from them, they are UK based and are easy to deal with if you have to return anything.

my first one has survived a 2 winters (commuting most days). No problems with second one either.

Amazon Solarstorm IMHO a much better light than the single XML units for the same or similar price, and as it's 'through' Amazon you can get decent service.

I would just add though that I have had to put a very small bead of silicone sealant under the lens seal on both of mine.

The O-ring section is too small and does not compress enough to facilitate a watertight seal.

Other than that they are great!

I've got one of the eBay £15(ish) ones. The only problem with them is the light is a bright centre spot with a dim halo around it.

Check these on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FXLDEAO/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Brighter and smaller head unit.

I wish I'd got those off Amazon.

I ordered mine from Lightmalls for roughly the same price over a month ago and have not got them yet. I dropped them an email and (to their credit I suppose) they got back to me saying that due to a cock up they had been returned.

Will give it another couple of days before contacting them again for a refund. It is getting a bit silly now. 😕

They went down to £16 just before Christmas - few folk in this office bought them under my recommendation. No complaints yet 🙂

Ooh, I didn't know there was a triple Solarstorm. Any great improvement on the double? (I'm thinking, beam pattern?)

There doesn't seem to be a lot of info specifically about the X3, but they do get mentioned in the lengthy STW & MTBR Solarstorm X2 threads... maybe try the bike forum and ask the question 😉
