When I was ditched by my boyfriend of 5 years, I got a tattoo (because I'd always wanted one, but held off because he 'didn't like tattoos on women') and got a hamster.
At 41 I imagine you'll have learnt to be more efficient, so should therefore totally get a tattoo of a hamster done.

searched Lake Garda and found your post! Just booked my trip to Lake Garda by myself because I also just split from my partner of 9 years. Loving these comments, freedom is a beautiful thing!
