Need to put a stove in a house I rent out, 3kw is all that is required. Local setup quoted 683 for burley springdale 3kw stove, can anyone give any comment on them that has one or fits them. Also living in northwest cumbria i'm limited in choice to local fitters that i can find. Does anyone know of fitters that work in north west cumbria as at present i'm limited to buying the stove from the local company and already have seen it £100 cheaper elsewhere.

or any other recomendations for 3 kw stoves.

A dunsley. My brother had one. It was superb. All spares readily available aftermarket.
Made in Holmfirth.

I have the 7kw version. Love it

Yeoman CL3 is rated at 3.7KW I think. Ours is great, was about £700 five years ago.

I don't think the brand matters much..it's a metal box you make a fire in.

As long as it's fitted properly and signed off.

You need a package price for the installation and it'll vary wildly. Try burning desires in Kendal we've had sensible prices from them before. Some of the operations charge a hefty markup on the installations so we were seeing estimates of 4K or so.

I've got a Burley 5kw stove, we've had it a few years now. It seems very well made and is easy to light. No faffing with mutiple vents just the lever at the bottom to control air flow.

The 2nd bit doesn't necessarily guarantee the 1st bit.

The whole HETAS thing is a joke and totally over priced.
