Moto G. It makes calls, surf's the 'net and you can store loads of music from Spotify. My iPad does the more fancy stuff.

I have a Moto G7 plus that I use for work. It's ok and does everything fine. Camera is nothing to shout about.

Would I buy another? Probably not, would go for a Pixel I reckon

Pixel 3 appears to be far better than the new 4 and likely to be in your price range.
