1.3kg this week
Plus 1.3kg
I'd expected a poor score but that's a lot worse than I hoped.
On the upside I should manage green next week 🤣

up a tiny but from last week but what's 0.5kg among friends!

Saw a really interesting interview about nutrition. Worth consideration as I have to admit, I am really active and seem to have hit a plateau for the last few years at 82-83kg.

Another 1/2kg down and slightly ahead of wk5 target so I’m happy. Slower weight loss has worked for me iro of keeping it off and I’m now down to the weight we’re I was 7 years ago so pleased overall

Exactly the same as last week!

However I did make the classic error of doing the weigh in before my visit to the smallest room in the house. So I may still have lost a bit in reality.

A tiny loss this week but I'm frankly amazed at that as I started a new job Monday and had the first two nights in a hotel. Drinks with new colleagues and buffet breakfasts really hot me hard.

Need to go all out if I'm going to be on target for next week's progress target.

Managed to get back down to my starting weight. So disappointing to have gone up in the first place but little wins matter!

0.1kg loss between the last two fridays but luckily daily weigh ins show I just got unlucky with the spikes and troughs that happen over time. Trend line still going down in a satisfying way and still already ahead of the 5 week target so happy with that.

86.8kg - slightly down this week but well above the target.

Could do better, needs to focus more, school report flashback

0.5kg down this week* which is great to see. I've been upping the miles running in the last week or two so think it's beginning to pay off.
I'm also thinking my weight loss would be a darn sight more but i'm currently turning my fat stores into muscle so this is counteracting those potential big numbers....but my belly disagrees!

I am seeing the Chub Club as becoming more of a habit forming/breaking tool as now i'm thinking twice before choosing to get a snack of an evening and not having a bread roll with soup for lunch, and do i really need that evening beer?

I'm still allowing myself an occasional treat/beer etc but it's a conscious decision and i know it may effect my progress and Friday weigh in results.

Not going well at all despite upping the exercise.
+0.5kg again this week.
Need to be out doing longer rides I think.
Frustrating!

1kg up compared to last Friday. Average is only 0.4kg higher this week compared to last though but i've had a bad cold all week so no riding and only averaging about 2,000 steps a day... Pretty sure i'll be back on track and continuing the downward trend from next week and beyond.

Until lurgy strikes again... (thanks to child bringing back various flavours of lurgy from nursery every other day).

Up a bit then down a bit missed the 5 week target by 1KG but not disheartened. Next week has me away for three days of hotel breakfasts, and little chance for lunch so the fasting thing is going to be hard.

Fingers crossed for next friday.

Up 0.5kg this week. Did reasonably well on the exercise but need to do a lot better on the calorie intake front.

+1.

Another 3lb down this week. Feeling good. Only 600g shy of 5 week target and that’s with it being a pretty ambitious aim of 10kg loss overall so really happy with that.

Down 1kg this week. This is the first time Chub Club has worked for me (although not there yet!). Fasting still seems to work for me. If anyone’s struggling to shed weight I would absolutely recommend it. It’s actually easier than it sounds but if I struggle I just g he ave some tuna & oatcakes which is around 300 calories. In general I am a gannet but fasting and using MyFitnessPal to count calories has really helped suppress my appetite!!

Back green this week and way below the five week target.

I've put some conditional formatting on the 5 week target column as well. Should be self explanatory.

Only 0.3kg this week but to be honest I thought I’d be level at best. Easy training week this week and let myself enjoy a bit of food. Most importantly I am feeling really good and my running has improved no end so I’ll take quite happily.

Down another 0.3kg for me which isn’t much in itself but my weight has not been up and down the way it often is.

started with the fasting as per the video I posted and it feels good. Eat last meal and then no snacking in the evening, I try and push my breakfast back until 7.45 instead of 7ish. This means I normally get 12-13 hours when previously I would be getting stuck into biscuits or chocolate with a cuppa between 8 and 9.

Maintained this week. Good exercise week including 43 mile and 20 mile hilly gravel rides, a few Zwift sessions and a run. However an average week food wise. Had a couple of takeaways including last night after daughter had a good parents evening and she got to choose what we had for dinner. That’s going to happen though and trying to make this more of a lifestyle change so just need to moderate and hopefully keep the overall trend moving down.

Down 0.8 from last week which is great, and well on track if I just keep this up and try and be consistent. Had a massive weekend on the bikes last weekend so had to eat quite a bit more to fuel it all, which seemed to impact my weight loss pretty badly for the first couple of days this week but luckily it's dropped again in the last few days.

I definitely do find it pretty hard to balance fuelling enough for rides while still aiming for weight loss, because at some point or another you're going to bonk and it's going to suck. As long as I can hit my target and then keep the weight off by the spring, I'll feel much better about doing big successive days on the bike over the summer without having to worry too much about what I'm eating.

Likewise not the best week, heavy weekend on the food front although I did ride both days. Then 3 days in Denmark for work getting up at 3am on Monday, so been tired all week and eating in restaurants. Knew it wouldn't be great but still lost some weight. Need to up my game next week.

Down a decent 1.3Kg this week, based on the scales this morning. However I was lighter yesterday.
Pleased with that - had a bad Saturday with too much eating and drinking, but made up for it the rest of the week.

Also, starting to see my abs come through just a little bit. BEEFCAKE!

Also finding it easier walking up stairs or riding uphill. Well pleased I got my act together this time around.

Same weight this week,  which I'm fairly pleased about - been crazy busy at work, busy every evening, has meant no proper exercise and more snacking than is good for me.

Really pleased this week as I missed my 5 week target last week and earned my first red background despite losing a bit every week.

This week I seem to have has a "woosh" and am back on track for the original target.

Up a bit - but basically flat-lining.  Am expecting better next week as I've actually started to take it more seriously

Down by .5kg this week. i was really sweating not meeting my target weight or getting an orange on the board, but in the last week or so i'm noticing a massive difference in my running where i'm now not dying for the entire run and am happy to find new routes to go a little further.

That combined with noticing that my jeans are looser around the waist means i'm doing something right even if it's not all shown in my overall weight and that in itself is another confidence booster to keep going.

Well! After doing so well, weight coming down nicely, seeing great improvements in blood pressure, eating right, more exercise, really feeling quite good about myself, had a huge blip this week. My Daughter tried to self harm last Sunday (she is 10, first time) and it really shook me, unfortunately its put me right in the bad old lifestyle I was used to, drinking every night, takeaways every other night, crisps for breakfast (yup!) and no exercise at all. Gone up 1.6kg in the week and dread to think what the BP readings will be.

Its weird how such a incident has changed what I was doing for the worse, and need to think to myself why. Even now typing this out I'm having a bottle and a curry is on the way 🙁

And just to top it off the Gout has come back today as well, I'm having a grand old week!!

* Daughter does not live with me although see her every day - she is fine btw, seeking help through the school etc

That's rough Ian, try to stick to the new regime despite what's going on in life not because of it. At least that will give you something positive to focus on.

After just maintaining last week, lost another 1kg this week. That’s a stone off since Xmas and 10lb since the start of this in Jan.

Slight increase back to 87kg.

I may have to resort to cutting a limb off to make my target weight

No change for me this week, i'm taking that as a win.

Just noticed Ian's post from last week, sorry to hear that Ian that's got to be a suckerpunch to have to go through. And a shitty week counterbalanced by some comfort food is not the end of the world, the main thing is you were aware of the changes in diet etc and the trigger causing it. I hope all is well with your daughter and you had a better week.

Progress has slowed, last week was bad due to working abroad, seems this week is about shrugging off the effects of last week. Need a good weekend to get back on track.

96.3 yesterday so 0.2 up. Don’t mind at all though for a few reasons. Overall I am sticking to my plan and looking at my weight loss graph since 2020 when I was at my heaviest I’ve come down slowly but surely and with the odd plateau along the way.

I got under 110kg and hovered around, then 105, then floated around 100, then sub 100 etc. but the weight has stayed off and I’ve not shot back up like I have in the past so this is slow but sustained loss.

I feel so much better and am running so much better. I did 15.2k in 90 mins the other week as part of my half marathon training. A distance in that time I didn’t think I’d ever achieve.

I had a relaxed week with food and a big meal Weds. it takes me 24-48 hours to get a big feed out of my system so to speak.

I know what my weight is today and taking into account the point immediately above it’s a fair bit lighter than my official Friday weigh in 🙂

The headline for me is as of today I have lost 19kg since Jan 2020. Back then given my mental and physical health my weight could have gone either way. I’d stacked on 10-15kg very quickly and could have lost control altogether and headed toward 120-130kg plus but I didn’t.
